ONLINE WRITING CENTER

APA refers to one of the most common formats for writing papers in college.  Basically, an APA-style paper has a title page, is double-spaced, has a five-space indent at the beginning of each paragraph and has at least three references cited at the end of the paper on a page labled "References."  These references are sources you have found online or in a library that support the points you are trying to make in your paper.  Without references it's not a research paper; it's just an opinion.
